Dr. Ronald Layton

Dr. Ron Layton brings extensive, in-depth leadership experience in high-level physical security and cybersecurity in order to anticipate and address the financial sector’s current and future security challenges. He regularly lectures at universities on leadership, technological advancement and cyber topics.
His previous experience includes: Deputy Assistant Director of the United States Secret Service; Office of Protective Operations as well as the Deputy Assistant Director of the Strategic Intelligence and Information Directorate. He was the first Presidentially appointed White House Technology liaison, responsible for the day to day and long term strategy for Presidential information systems in the Obama administration. Additional leadership assignments included the Presidential Protective Division, Counter Assault Team Commander, Deputy Director of the DHS National Cyber Security Division, Electronic Crimes National Program Director, and Deputy CIO for the Secret Service.
